Worker’s compensation carriers are under increasing pressure to consider and protect the interests of Medicare when settling claims. If this is not done properly future medical costs can be penalized heavily by being assessed at double the damages. Payers must take an appropriate amount of the settlement money and "set aside" enough funds to cover the payment of future medical costs which would otherwise be paid by Medicare.

The ARM Medicare Set Aside program determines the appropriate amount of settlement funds to be "set aside" through an analysis by our highly trained and certified allocation specialists. We look at the client’s medical conditions, current treatment, anticipated future treatment, and life expectancy. We are knowledgeable in securing Medicare approval by developing a plan which is referred to as a Medicare Set Aside Proposal. This plan is submitted in accordance with all of the regulatory requirements to the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).
